Meredith A. Jackson Jewelry Giveaway

I'm excited to announce a fabulous giveaway today from Meredith Jackson Jewelry Design. Meredith Jackson is a talented jewelry designer who is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina and who hand-makes all her pieces with all natural semi-precious stones and fine metals. Take a look at some of my favorite pieces from her shop

From Left to Right

Today Meredith Jackson is giving away any item in her shop up to  $150! Here are just a few of the options you have to choose from.

Love these ones for the Holidays.  The best part of her earrings in my opinion is that they are all made to be super light-weight. I hate heavy earrings that drag down my earlobes all day. Each piece is also one-of-a-kind so you can really standout when you wear a Meredith Jackson design.

You can see even more pieces to choose from here

This giveaway has ended.

Dream Nursery: Kelsey Grauke

Today is our last post in the Dream Nurseries Series.  I hope you have enjoyed this series as much as I have!
In honor of the series ending we have special treat! Kelsey from Kelsey Design has put together two beautiful dream nurseries for us.

Here is how she describes her first dream nursery.

This "pink" nursery has a lot of pink going on (which personally makes me giddy!). I kept it fresh and modern by going with more coral tones, rather than traditional pink. The walls and art are simple to balance out the patterns on the chair and rug. One of my favorite tricks in a nursery is to use a buffet or dresser for a changing table. Pop on a changing pad and you now have a glammed-up changing table with twice the storage, not to mention it's hidden behind drawers and doors, than a traditional changing table. The over dyed traditional rug, mirrored buffet, metallic accents, and simple color scheme give this nursery the grown-up glam edge. The pink pattern play, bird cage lamp, brass giraffes, and tassel garland add whimsy to your munchkin's little space.

Caravan Crib / Gold Pouf / Changing Table-Buffet / Rug (also check overstock!) / Love Print / Bird Lamp / Brass Giraffes / Art (diy) / Blanket / Garland / Chair

And here is her next nursery!

The colors are very simple in this nursery- black & white with splashes of gold. Because the colors are so simple and very "grown-up glam," I jazzed it up with the pattern play and whimsical accents... tree wallpaper (how cute is that?), a polka-dot rug, animal busts, jumping sheep art, brass giraffes (too cute to not use again!), and poodle lamp. The glider, ottoman, and sheepskin rug will make late nights more comfortable for mama although the gold gilt dresser and campaign crib might make her a little jealous...

I hope you are inspired by these nurseries! They are currently making me rethink my own bedroom design! Thanks again Kirsten for having me and pop on over to visit me at Kelsey Design!

If you missed any of the nurseries in this series here is a recap for you!

Thanks to everyone who participated!

Welcome Back Sugar Fresh & Discount Code!

I'm so excited to welcome back Sugar Fresh as an advertiser on my blog! Sugar Fresh is one of my go to places for unique and modern children's art.

Sugar Fresh has also recently added two new beautiful prints to the shop.

I think this print is so sweet. I designed a little mood board around it for you! The print is very pretty and soft so I added some black to create some graphic punch in this room. I love the polka dot rug and the polka dot pouf.

Today Sugar Fresh is offering a discount code for my readers.

Feature Friday: Migonis Home

Today I am featuring the home of Jen from the blog Migonis Home. Here is how she describes her style:

"When Kirsten asked me to define my design style I have to tell you that I had no idea how to articulate it...I love beachy meets rustic meets chic meets inexpensive. What is the term for that? :) Our house isn't complete, which you'll find out in a second from looking at the photos, but take a minute and check out my blog's House Tour so you can see the "before" photos. We've made some large improvements to our little Cape."

Enjoy!
